May Empties!

Last month was a good month for emptying some products that had been around for a while, mainly skincare, a couple of makeup products and a few hair products as well. Let’s get to it:

1. Goodness Products Certified Organic Chia Seed Oil;  2. Goodness Products Every Evening Cream; 3. Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub; 4.  Lush Cosmetics Snow Fairy Shower Gel

1.  Loreal Paris Hair Expertise Everstrong Strengthening & Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner;  2. Sebastian Volupt Spray

All of the items pictured above are all items I would repurchase without hesitation.  I particularly want to mention the gentle scrub by Neutrogena.  Neutrogena is not a brand I have largely used, I have only ever tried 1 or 2 things. I received this in a beauty box and was so surprised how much I liked this product! I also loved using Snow Fairy – you can pretty much read reviews anywhere of how much it is loved so I wasn’t surprised I loved this too!!  My hair is thin and limp so these hair products by Loreal and Sebastian really gave it the volume I needed as well as keeping it looking smooth and fresh.

1. Trilogy Rosapene Radiance Serum;  2. Caudalie Vine Activ 3 in 1 Moisturiser;  3.  Swisspers Aloe Facial Cleansing Wipes

1.  Covergirl Outlast Stay Luminous Natural Glow Foundation & Covergirl TruBlend Liquid Makeup Foundation

These items are in my “not sure” pile. At first I really liked using these two foundations, I preferred TruBlend over Luminous Natural Glow. I may have bought the wrong shades though as they made me look a bit yellow. I’d be interested in trying a different shade. But anyway as I got near the last quarter of the jar it was merely impossible to get the foundation out, even taking the pumper out was no good and not worth the mess.  I liked using the facial wipes, serum and moisturiser but these just didn’t wow me.  I have dry skin and I just found that the moisturiser and serum didn’t help it any.  But someone with normal skin may like these 10x more than me!

1.  Mario Badescu Glycolic Foaming Cleanser; Glycolic Acid Toner & Collagen Moisturiser

I basically bought these products to test out the brand, get a feel of what the hype was about. These products didn’t prove hypeworthy to me. In saying that, again I have dry skin and these just didn’t fit that. The foaming cleanser, whilst made my skin feel extremely clean and fresh, it made my skin feel so tight.  The toner smelt like an alcohol filled product, and the moisturiser felt like a $10 facial sunscreen I can pick up from the supermarket.  I won’t be repurchasing these again.

Thanks for reading guys, until next time xx

    1. Thanks for your comment! I was actually really surprised too. In saying that..I honestly haven’t read too many reviews at all on these particular products..there seems to be a lot of hype around the acne products. I don’t get ance so I didnt want to waste my money on those items. These particular items just seem so overpriced for what they are…so many other good products out there for dry skin at a lot lower cost xx These were in a regimen kit (deluxe sized items) which were good for testing…they lasted about a month so you may want to give that a go if you’re unsure? 🙂
